When You Want the World to Know...
Facelift by Jeffrey Antimarino

Scars are the signature of the surgeon and talented facelift surgeons are known for their minimal scarring. Aesthetic scars, natural hairlines and normal earlobe position are signs of a good facelift surgeon.

You can see my facelift scars, from Jeffrey R. Antimarino’s original facelift and after his scar revision. It now hurts when I smile. (I believe it comes from where he has stitched my earlobe to my cheek.) I wanted this facelift procedure to be a secret, but instead it’s a statement. It screams, ‘I had my facelift done in the back of a van!!’ It’s embarrassing and impossible to hide.

Jeff Antimarino told me he sends his clients to a tattoo artist to cover surgical scars. I just removed my tattoo and am not eager for more, especially a neck tattoo! What color do I choose, my dark summer brown or my winter white skin tone? It would look even worse, I imagine, like a spider web tattoo. Large neck tattoos won’t be invisible.

Quick Refresher

Obvious signs that a facelift has been performed without the greatest degree of skill or care.

Visible Scarring

Any good surgeon will make the effort to minimize scarring as much as possible, especially on a facial procedure. A skilled surgeon will be able to create incisions that are entirely invisible or at least barely detectable once healed. Any tension on the skin will lead to widened, thicker scarring. Any visible scarring is a sign of a bad facelift.

Pulled, Elongated Ears

Part of a facelift involves pulling the skin backward and upwards in the same sort of trajectory that the ears take. If the skin is pulled too tightly and there is too much tension, or if too much excess skin is cut away, the ears could look pulled, elongated, or like they have been fused to the jawline. Pixie Ear. This comes from an improper facelift technique. This results from “hanging the cheek or neck skin on the earlobe” from either a short cut or improper surgical planning. These are all signs that the facelift has not been performed to a high standard.

What Other Surgeons Are Saying About Jeff Antimarino’s Facelift Procedure…

“… I am very sorry for you… There are no solutions for your neck. The scars are too low. “

“… These scars were placed too low where they are very noticeable. If the scars were placed properly and higher in the hairline, they would be almost totally hidden. This type of low incision is commonly seen in “short cut” facelift procedures. The skin was also stitched under excessive tension which led to the more noticeable, thicker scars across your neck.”

“… if we could mobilize the skin and the incision back to the hairline, then there would be some options, but in order to do that, there needs to be enough skin, and right now there isn’t. One day we would entertain that, however, that would likely be a good 10 or so years from now. I apologize that we are unable to help with your case.”

“…at this point my recommendation would be to seek specialist services for each problem as to not make things worse or cause additional problems that preclude a specialist from being able to solve the problem.”

What Jeff Antimarino is saying about his Facelift Procedure…

“… Relative to any Bellissimo webpage or other media posts you have made or make going forward… you will be opening yourself up to a civil action for defamation by Dr. Antimarino here in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in which Dr. Antimarino/Bellissimo WILL BE requesting significant general monetary damages, punitive damages, and any other damages that the court may deem just and proper.”

What happened to: ‘Bellissimo Plastic Surgery was started because Dr. Antimarino wanted to have a place that genuinely reflects his personality and his philosophy about patient care, including building profound relationships with patients that revolve around trust, sincerity and honest communication. Dr. Antimarino believes he has a responsibility to treat all of his patients the same way he would treat his family and to connect with them to ensure he achieves the outcomes they desire and deserve. ‘

He felt I deserved this? For what, trusting in him and his abilities??

This is how he would treat his family???
